  2. hey Dave can u make a tutorial on making houses from scratch, instead of using other peoples mods.when i get my new land made i want to make a town.

  3. Josh, I created the house tutorial mods based on my own mod, The Five Keys of Azura. It made it easier for me to relate to the kind of houses I had become accustomed to ie. the Nord houses.

If you follow the tutorials you will see that they are all related to the Five Keys mod. You can load the mod into the CS to see the houses as they were created in the tutorials.

Your second comment about land. Have you raised it above sea level and given the cell a unique name? If you haven't you may not see the cell in the region painter

  5. Josh, if you created your cell from a wilderness cell eg. 0,28 find your cell in the cell window then click on the name column until it highlights and you can edit it. Give it a unique name.

Open the region painter and create a new region. Select a color for the region in the region map color section ensuring its different to the other regions. Give your new region a name.

You should then be able to find your cell in the region painter - it will have the coordinates you used and the name you gave it. Click in the cell to paint it.

  12. Hi Dave , i just wanted to know , is there any way to make CS work smoothly without any crash risk ? i mean i love modding , i have a lot of good ideas and a lot of will to make them , but when i do a mod i just take a huge risk cause my CS crashes constantly. I followed all the tips i found on the internet but it just doesn't matter , at some point the CS will crash just cause i put a static object in the render window. Please give me some tips/advice on how to make my CS run correctly. Also when i save there is a chance that my CS crashes , and when i put my "Autosave every x minutes" on it gives me a warning about how it can't save ...

  13. Hi Dave,

I'm wondering how the heck to delete an interior cell. I have a house mod, but I want to get rid of a few cells that are just absolute garbage. Any help would be appreciated!

  14. So sorry to take so long to try and answer these question. Been on a sabbatical.

Without knowing anything much about your computer specs it's difficult to say. But, for starters I'd say you should have 2 gigs of memory and a decently fast processor since morrowind cs is sluggish and prone to crashing at the best of times. Ensure that you have your .ini file as correct as possible too - do a search on it and check that the file matches those of most of the other modders. That's about the only advice I have for the moment.

    DarkAthena...
It's a while now since I modded interior cells in Morrowind, but if my memory serves correctly then I think you need to delete all the content in the interior cell. That should be all since the cell is empty and cannot interfere with any of the other interiors. That's a shot in the dark, unfortunately...
